Boots and Hearts Music Festival is an annual country music festival held in Oro-Medonte, Ontario, Canada. The fans this year of 2023 were full of excitement. They were so grateful to be part of something so big. Many of them told us it had been too long since they had such an amazing time. They laughed when telling us about the wet tents, the soaked clothes, and muddy grass. Slipping or sliding it wasn’t stopping them from having the time of their lives. Tornado warnings and a day of rain just made it all more memorable.

Part 2

Fans of Boots and Hearts come from all over Canada and the US. We actually met many people who came from parts of Europe as well. We heard from a group of friends that attend this event yearly, and they all meet up every year coming in on planes, trains, and busses. We met another group that to an Uber in from Kingston, Ontario. Sat down with a family of four generations that have been going to Boots since the first festival. So many mother and daughter duos,

First love couples We actually photographed and took videos of a marriage proposal. That was very cool!

The weekend at Boots and Hearts is an experience of a lifetime. To be able to unwind, be playful, sing, dance, eat, and drink. That’s what the guests of Boots were doing. Totally off from their daily busy lives, totally into just having fun and enjoying the moments.

We wanted to capture Boots and Hearts show the insides of the festival. The core, all the best parts. The best parts are the people, the crowds, the attendees, the organizers, the owners, the vendors, and the volunteers. The teams behind making the festival the best it can be. All of these people are what Boots is about. Bringing people together to have the weekend of their life.

The best part, our favorite part, was listening to thousands and thousands of people singing along with all the amazing musicians. The musicians this year were phenomenal. The joy they brought to the people as they all took their turn to bring the magic to the audience. Watching the phone lights light up the crowds was the perfect way to end each evening.
