The Santa Files: Parades and Markets Around Simcoe
Santa Claus is coming to town, and his parade hits the streets on Nov. 19th.
Downtown will be awash in Noel based entertainment, and you can hit up the Chamber of Commerce’s Santa Tour website for the specifics, and the route for this year’s path.
Outside of the big B, Santa and the reindeer will be making appearances. Scroll on for a list of festive fun with the big man across Simcoe Muskoka!
Parades Around The Region
Santa and his small version float travels to Bradford on Nov. 19th.
Over in Alliston, the 2022 Alliston Night Lit Santa Claus parade is scheduled for Nov. 19th.
In Gravenhurst, it’s happening on Nov. 26th.
Orillia welcomes St. Nick on Nov. 19th.
Innisfil offers a Santa Claus parade scheduled on Nov. 27, starting at Innisfil Beach park.
Wasaga Beach hosts Santa Claus and his parade and a tree lighting ceremony on Nov. 26th.
Collingwood is planning for Santa Nov. 19th.
Bracebridge is holding it’s parade on Dec. 2nd.
Christmas Markets
Beyond the parades, there will be plenty of Noel themed markets in and around Barrie.
The Queens hosts a bazaar on Nov. 27th, with vendors, artisans and a toy drive. There are still a few slots open, so if you are keen to have a table, reach out to us!
Redline Brewhouse is back with their annual Christmas market on Nov. 26th, featuring a wide selection of vendors, makers and artisans.
The Spice Holiday Market is back at the MacLaren Art Centre on Dec. 2nd.
Of course, the Barrie’s Farmer Market is also running through the festive season, with farm fresh items for your holiday table. They’ve moved inside for the colder months but are open every Saturday. And they’ll be in the Santa parade.
