The Social Recap – The Week That Was Feb. 14th

All The Good (And Occasional) Bad of What Went Down in Barrie Last Week

There are three certainties in life…

Death.

Taxes.

Social media.

And if you are tweeting, posting and talking about Barrie on social media, we want to hear from you!

The Social Recap – The Week That Was Feb. 14th

Barrie’s own Mark Smither continues to pile up victories on his way to the Canadian super lightweight championship on Feb. 26th. If you haven’t had a chance yet, check out Mark’s story right here!

Speaking local sports, did you know that Barrie’s own Kiana Scott is the OHL’s first female scout? Read up on Kiana’s journey to the O right here!

The days are getting longer, and before we know it the beaches will be packed and the patios alive with music and good company. But until then, enjoy the stunning nature shots that winter brings…

It’s been waayyy too long since we all gathered at the lakefront for Kempenfest. But that will all change this summer! Kempenfest is back, and it can’t get here any sooner. This year the 50th anniversary will be celebrated, so you can bet it’s going to be memorable.

And finally, nothing says “back to normal’ more than comedians taking to the stage to belittle themselves. Den of Hilarities is back next week, and you can catch the show at Donaleigh’s.
