The Social Recap – The Week That Was Jan. 10th

All The Good (And Occasional) Bad of What Went Down in Barrie Last Week

There are three certainties in life…

Death.

Taxes.

Social media.

And if you are tweeting, posting and talking about Barrie on social media, we want to hear from you!

The Social Recap – The Week That Was Jan. 10th

It’s been a tough time for local sports and for local businesses, so when we see great stories like this from the local scene, it’s time to shout it out!

It’s a little quiet in the restaurants around town (hopefully not for too long) but that isn’t stopping the crew from Locallicious from doing something fab for the local hospitality workers!

Barrie is lucky to be home to one of the most picturesque winter backdrops in Ontario. Thankfully we can get out and enjoy adventures in the snow, despite whatever might be happening elsewhere. As evidenced by great snaps like these!

And speaking of Barrie’s outdoors, it’s doubly beneficial when you take a stroll along the waterfront if you stop to take a spin on the outdoor fitness equipment.

And finally, as we bear down for the first big snowfall of the year, we can at least look forward to some stunning winter snaps around town, like this!
