Saugeen River – Hanover

Saugeen River was at one time a significant barge route, but today’s it’s a popular destination for canoeing, fishing and tubing. The Saugeen Springs RV Park is on site and offers tubing packages, as well as rentals.

Vermillion River – Chelmsford

This river just north of Sudbury is a slightly longer drive, so you’ll want to hit the road early to take in a full day.

When you get there, Chillin’ N Tubing is the place to score your rental. The float is about 2.5 hours, with plenty of points to stop off and take a swim, or a break.

Cost: Ranging from $8.00 to $23, depending on your tube.

Grand River – Cambridge

This picturesque launch site sends tubers more than 8-kilometres down the Grand River, while passing through Eagle Habitat and the heart of a 1000-acre nature reserve. In fact, the last stretch of your adventure runs parallel to 50-foot limestone bluffs.

Tubing The Grand is the local rental company to get your gear.

Elora

The Elora section of the Grand River is another terrific tubing spot that travels past 22-metre high cliffs and scenic hiking routes engulfing the river.

Accessing the Grand river from Elora also gives you entry to the stunning quarry; ideal for a swim post or pre-tube trip.

Gull River – Minden Hills

Tucked away in the Algonquin Highlands and Haliburton County, the Gull River provides a tranquil tubing experience.

And being in the heart of cottage country, it makes for an easy adventure to fold into your weekend escape from the city.

There is a company that provides rentals, however it was not open for the 2021 season, so be sure to check online before you arrive.
