Comedy @ Perfect Szn

Makers of mirth hit the mic at Perfect Szn’s Barrie location this Friday.

Greg Enwright hosts, with Kyle Hickey (Boston Comedy Festival, CBC’s Ha!ifax Comedy Festival and JFL42 in Toronto) featured.

In addition, local comics Arianna Swietlinski and Ricardo Mejias are on the bill. So if you’re in the mood for a chortle over dinner, grab tickets for the show via

Kick Into Spring Vendor Market

The Queens plays host to a Spring artisan and makers market on Sunday to get you primed for the warm weather months.

Free admission gets you into the pub and a chance to browse cool creations and seasonal finds from Barrie area creators.

The market opens at noon.

Baycats Exhibition Game

The boys of summer are back on Saturday, with an exhibition match against the Thornhill Reds.

Doors open at 3 , and entry is free with a non-perishable food item for the Barrie Food bank. Otherwise tickets are $2, and all of that money will go directly to the food bank.

Trivia And Tunes @ The Queens

If you are too impatient for Friday to arrive, kick off the weekend early at the Queens tonight and try your hand at trivia.

Beginning at 7, it’s a chance to show off your useless knowledge skills, and earn eternal (or at least nightly) bragging rights as a quiz master.

As always, there is plenty of live music through the weekend at the Q.

And if you just don’t want the night to end, step over to the club side after 10pm. with DJs on the decks and more drink specials to be had.
